English Translation of the interview:

“Only Everyone else is saying 10 Years..10 years, but If I feel restless about release of ‘Samar’ It feels like my first movie is releasing” says Trisha with excitement. There is a natural beauty, more clarity in words & a friendly approach in her. After 10 years of Cinema this is Trisha Version 2.0

Q: In today’s trend, its quite difficult for a heroine to last 10 years. How did u made is possible?

Trisha: Speaking frankly, after my first film, I thought I won’t last even for 6 months in cinema. But, I couldn’t imagine that I had lasted for 10 years. Even I can’t figure out how fans continue to like me for all these years. Even now, I don’t have any plans for my future in cinema. I will act till I get the interest to go out for shoot when I wake up in the morning. I would love to act even for 10 more years if I get interesting scripts & good characters.

I am more particular about choosing good roles nowadays. That’s the reason even if I didn’t have any releases in Tamil in 2012. But, this gap is also for good. My Tamil fans would have missed me in this gap, but it will be compensated with 4-5 releases in 2013. All are good roles & good films.

Q: Who is the replacement for Trisha?

Trisha: It is very difficult to answer. When I entered to act, people said I am a good replacement for Simran. But, even now Simran’s place can’t be replaced. Now, a lot of new comers are doing their best right from their first film. I like Samantha. She looks very beautiful on screen & her acting is also natural. So my choice is Samantha.

Q: You say Samantha is best, but she had said that Nithya of NEP is better than Jessie of VTV?

Trisha: You are looking to get me in to trouble J I haven’t watched Nithya. But, if Samantha had said that, she must be right. Because she has done both roles of Nithya & Jessie. But, I have done only Jessie.

Q: Who is your close friend among heroines?

Trisha: I get along with everyone. Nayanthara is known to me for many years. Tamannah, Illeana, Varu are all good friends too. But there are no close friends from cinema. Even today, my close friends are those who were my close friends 20 years back.

Q: About Rumours?

Trisha: I have matured to react to rumours in all these years. Myself or Rana have never taken them seriously. We take rumors as jokes and laugh reading them.

Q: Marriage?

Trisha: Without my knowledge, I have been married many times. But, till now I haven’t got any idea of marriage. I will definitely get married, once I find a right person. As of now, I haven't got the right person, and not the mindset to get married. But, definitely it will be love marriage.

Q: Suddenly u met with Mr. Shasi Tharoor. Any idea of joining politics in future?

Trisha: (screams) I don’t want to be in politics. Now, politics have mixed with cinema. So, it’s better that I don’t speak about politics till I am in cinema.
