Just one year passed by after a heavy loss to the family & I never thought it will happen again... never ever thought!!
18th October 2012.. Mr. Krishnan, Trisha's father passed away.. & now 7th December 2013.. Cadbury (a) Cadu.. her son, 9 year old Indian mongrel breathed last. Just dont know why god has been harder to her in quick succession. It's a complete shocker for me when I heard the news, I cudn't imagine how it will be for Trisha's family.
Cadbury was rescued by Trisha during her shooting of Nuvvostanante Nenodantaana in Hyderabad during 2004. He was injured & Trisha did what any animal lover will do.. took him to the vet hospital and treated him. He instantly became her favourite, she flew him back with her to Chennai & he became the prince of her home. Her family members welcomed him with love, the closest being her grandmother.
My memories with Cadbury go couple of years back, I saw him first at Trisha's home where he used to sit & chill out in the evenings at the gate. Whenever I pass by that road, in the evenings, my eyes automatically look out for Cadu... always wanted to stop by and have a few words with him. He had some temperament & doesn't get along with strangers. So I never had an opportunity to pet him. She used to proudly call him The Indian Shepherd. The last time I was at her home few days back, I saw him at the gate & called him, Hi Cadu... he turned & looked at me... that look, i can never forget. I wanted to go to him, but the driver alerted me not to coz he is bit aggressive.. so I stopped.
And yesterday, when I passed again that side, my eyes were at his favourite spot...until I realized he is not going to be there anymore... He is a lucky kid to fall in to the arms of a loving family & led a beautiful life. I am sure the family is gonna miss him terribly, including me... Rest in Peace Cadu...
